California liberals just got a reality check, and it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving crowd. While Gavin Newsom and his woke allies keep trying to erase parental rights, the Ninth Circuit—yes, even the super-liberal Ninth—put the brakes on their latest attack against families. Their attempted power grab, AB 1955, tried to muzzle parents and hand over kids to government bureaucrats. But this week, common sense parents scored a huge win.
The left’s agenda is clear: keep secrets from families, destroy parental authority, and let the state control what’s best for your child. AB 1955 was a slap in the face to every mom and dad who actually wants a say in how their kids are raised. Newsom and his buddies think Sacramento and the teachers’ unions know your child better than you do. That’s outrageous.
This isn’t just about California. If Newsom got his way, this model could spread across America. Imagine a country where parents are locked out of the most important conversations about their kids’ lives. The left claims to be about “family values” and “inclusion,” yet their real idea of progress is to keep secrets, cut out parents, and put government in total control. Hypocritical doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Stopping AB 1955 means parents can still speak up, push back, and protect their children from radical agendas. The fact that even the most liberal court in America saw the danger should freak the left out. Instead of listening to parents, the Newsom crowd just keeps pushing harder, desperate for control and afraid of accountability.
Parents are not going away. They’ll fight for their children, no matter how many legal games Sacramento tries to play. Maybe it’s time Newsom remembered who he really works for—and it sure isn’t the woke crowd or the globalist activists. When parents win, America wins. How many more times do elite liberals need to lose before they finally get the message?
