But did these so-called public servants respect the will of the people? Not a chance. The losing officials simply REFUSED to leave. Let’s be honest. If conservatives tried a stunt like this, the liberal talking heads on cable news would be howling for weeks. Celebrities would be shrieking about “the end of the Republic.” Front pages would scream about “coups” and “dangerous extremists.” But when Democrats ignore the law, refuse to accept election results, and cling to power, it’s somehow not a big deal.
