The world just got a wake-up call, and it came from Colombia. The South American nation rejected the tired old playbook of socialism by choosing Abelardo De La Espriella, a true conservative outsider, as their new president. This election wasn’t just a win for one man—it was a win for everyone fed up with leftist failures and globalist meddling. While the liberal elites propped up Iván Cepeda, a career far-left politician, the people sent a thunderous message by voting for change.
This is the kind of news the mainstream media hates. De La Espriella’s victory proves that regular folks are sick of weak, anti-American policies that destroy economies and ruin lives. For years, countries across Latin America have fallen for the same empty promises from socialists and Marxists, only to end up with more poverty, more chaos, and less freedom. Today, Colombia showed it won’t be another pawn in the global left’s twisted games.
The left tries to paint every conservative outsider as “dangerous” or “radical.” But what’s truly dangerous is letting power-hungry radicals write the rules. De La Espriella stands for law and order. He puts his country first. He’s not interested in cozying up to dictators or gutting the rule of law just to keep the elites happy. That terrifies the left—and it should. When regular citizens have a voice, the old corrupt system starts to crack.
It’s no coincidence that De La Espriella stood behind President Trump’s America First ideas. The world saw what real leadership looks like when Trump was in the White House: jobs, security, strength. Now, Colombia is ready for its own brand of common-sense conservatism, while liberals panic about losing another stronghold. Maybe their “progress” isn’t as popular as they pretend.
Liberals in Washington and their media buddies better take note. If even Colombia can break free from leftist lies and globalist chains, what’s stopping the rest of the world from following suit? The tide is turning. Isn’t it about time other nations start putting their own people first again?
