The left is losing its mind—again. This time, it’s over President Trump doing what he does best: fixing a mess that the Democrats let rot for years. The iconic D.C. Reflecting Pool was an algae-infested eyesore, but instead of thanking Trump for cleaning it up, the so-called media elites are trying to turn basic maintenance into some sort of “attack on nature.”
It’s unbelievable how far the left will go to embarrass themselves. Just look at these woke climate warriors—you know, the ones who probably couldn’t fix a leaky faucet—parading around like algae is some sacred national treasure. They’d rather defend slime than support a president making our monuments beautiful again. You can almost hear their screeching as they hug trees and now, apparently, mutated pond scum.
Even more ridiculous, mainstream reporters have started playing biologist with their little water samples and expert tests. Is this what passes for journalism now? Forget reporting on real issues—CNN and their friends are too busy digging up muck and pretending they’re saving the world. Maybe next up, they’ll be doing DNA swabs on the Lincoln Memorial to check for “heritage moss.”
Of course, all this noise isn’t just about some green goop in a pool. It’s about Trump standing up to a media that will twist any story to fit their latest anti-American, anti-Trump tantrum. Instead of being honest about needed renovations, they treat every improvement like it’s some crime against humanity. The globalist crowd in the press room can’t stand it when Trump puts America–and its history—first.
If only the left cared half as much about our neglected cities or exploding crime as they do about moldy puddles in D.C. But we all know the truth: their outrage is only real when it targets conservatives. Maybe the next time liberals want to protest, they’ll just throw themselves in the pool and become one with the algae they love so much.
