This isn’t just silly. It’s downright dangerous. Liberals say this is about building a better community. But since when did a handshake to your neighbor require a legally binding oath? It sounds more like Big Brother than good manners. First, you have to submit to government regulation in every area of your life. Now, the left wants to draft your personality, too.
What’s next? Will bureaucrats decide how cheerful your smile must be? Maybe they’ll hand out demerits if you skip waving at strangers. If you choose not to participate in this emotional groupthink, do you get booted out? It’s social engineering straight out of a progressive playbook—using utopian promises to bulldoze over common sense and personal responsibility.
Don’t be fooled—globalist developers and woke politicians push for these fake “kindness” campaigns because they want more control. First, they guilt-trip buyers about kindness, next, they’ll penalize you for not hanging rainbow flags or attending diversity potlucks. It’s a slippery slope, and it tramples real American values—like privacy, independence, and the right to speak your mind without being policed by neighborhood do-gooders.
If California liberals think enforced niceness will fix their failing cities, they’re dreaming. People buy homes for safe neighborhoods and solid schools, not a forced smile. Conservative Americans know that real community is built through authentic relationships—not by signing some ridiculous paper dreamed up by progressive elites. Will families be asked to swear allegiance to the governor next? That’s not kindness—it’s control, plain and simple.
