You won’t believe how much of your money DC is wasting just to pay interest on the national debt

Washington’s out-of-control spending just hit a shocking new low, and the numbers tell the story. The U.S. government is now flushing more than $970 billion straight down the drain every year—just to cover the interest on its bloated debt. That’s not money going to our troops, our border, our roads, or any real American priority. That’s just the price tag for a decade of fiscal insanity from the politicians who claim to “care” about working families.

Let’s put this disaster in perspective: We’re now spending more on interest payments than we spend on the Pentagon. The world is getting more dangerous by the minute, but instead of arming our military or keeping Americans safe, D.C. is paying rent to Wall Street and foreign bankers. All because our so-called leaders refuse to stop the spending spree. Liberals would rather write blank checks for every pet project and bloated bureaucracy than actually balance the books. The American taxpayer gets left holding the bag.

Why is this happening? Because Congress can’t say no—to radical left-wing wish lists, open-border programs, and endless entitlements that don’t make anyone’s life better. Every “stimulus” and backroom deal just piled more bills on the national credit card. Now the interest alone threatens to crush any chance of prosperity for the next generation. Do Democrats care? Of course not. If anything, soaring debt fits their globalist vision: a weaker, broke America at the mercy of international lenders.

What happens when interest payments eat up every dollar we have? How many more bridges can crumble, families can struggle, or veterans can wait for care while Washington’s elites pat themselves on the back for “helping”? This is what liberal mismanagement really looks like—trading away America’s future security and success just to keep the swamp fed for one more election.

Maybe it’s time for some real accountability. Maybe it’s time to stop the madness, cut the spending, and put America—not the global bureaucrats or special interests—first. Or are we just supposed to keep paying tribute to the debt kings, while our country sinks deeper into the quicksand of left-wing incompetence?
