Texas Democrat says he hates Christianity and wants to rewrite your faith for radical elites

Senate candidate James Talarico just can’t help himself when it comes to insulting Christian Texans. This Democrat is actually boasting that he’s a Christian who “hates Christianity.” If that sounds unbelievable, it’s not—the left has gotten so obsessed with twisting faith into woke propaganda, they’re not even hiding their contempt for the real thing anymore.

Talarico’s ramblings—caught in a resurfaced conversation with a progressive reverend and a self-described “TransQueer, Latinx activist theologian”—read like a script for the most unhinged episode of “Woke Church.” He claims to admire activists who turn faith into nothing more than a social justice slogan. Instead of standing for traditional values, Talarico’s inspirations preach confusion, radical identity politics, and word salads so tossed up nobody can find a grain of truth left in them.

It gets worse. Talarico celebrates a book that encourages dismantling everything Christianity stands for. He loves to say God isn’t just non-binary, but also uses this bizarre logic to claim abortion is “divinely affirmed.” Seriously, in his world, the Annunciation—one of the holiest moments in Christian tradition—gets twisted into an argument for killing the unborn. It’s the same old leftist playbook: redefine faith until nothing remains but their twisted version of “acceptance.”

With 67 percent of Texans identifying as Christians, it’s hard to imagine a bigger slap in the face. Talarico is so caught up in pleasing radical elites and the globalist crowd, he’s telling everyday Texans he hates their faith—and expects them to vote for him anyway! Instead of being honest about his beliefs, he tries to hide behind flowery woke language, disguising his disdain for Christianity with “intellectual” nonsense.

Let’s call this what it is: another left-wing attack on decency, tradition, and American values. Talarico and his activist friends want to rewrite Christianity to fit their ever-changing, anti-family agenda. They’re not interested in tolerance—they want obedience. Will voters let a man who despises the faith of his own constituents represent Texas? Or will Texans finally say enough is enough to this madness?
