Zohran Mamdani, a New York City Councilman with a long record of radical leftist takes, is at it again—this time shedding tears for an alleged Hamas operative, not an innocent journalist like the mainstream media so desperately wants you to believe. While the liberal crowd falls over themselves to mourn, Israeli Defense Forces are saying loud and clear: Ahmed Washah wasn’t just some guy with a camera—he was a Hamas sniper, plotting attacks alongside his terrorist brother. That’s right, Washah and his family weren’t reporting the news; they were making themselves part of it, by building weapons to slaughter innocent Israelis.
But instead of condemning terrorists hiding as journalists, Mamdani ramps up his anti-Israel rhetoric and blames AIPAC for daring to lobby for America’s strongest Middle Eastern ally. He’s quick to cry about “monsters who move dark money” but goes strangely silent when it comes to admitting Hamas’s use of hospitals, schools, and news organizations as human shields and propaganda machines. This isn’t genuine concern for human life—this is old-fashioned leftist hypocrisy. Liberals love to scream about “disinformation,” yet here they are, swallowing terrorist talking points without question.
It gets better—or worse, depending on how tired you are of the woke circus in New York politics. In the middle of a press conference, when actually challenged on his real anti-Israel bias, Mamdani doesn’t bother to acknowledge Israel’s right to self-defense. Instead, he grandstands about “children killed by Israel” while ignoring the piles of evidence showing Hamas deliberately puts civilians in harm’s way for their own bloody PR. Washah, the so-called cameraman, is seen cozying up to rifles online, but apparently that’s not enough for our leftist leaders to connect the dots.
Let’s not forget why journalists-turned-terrorists like Washah end up in the crosshairs: because Hamas embeds itself in civilian life to manipulate global opinion. Yet woke politicians and their allies in left-wing media eat up the propaganda, treat every claim out of Gaza as gospel, and paint Israel—and by extension, America—as the villain. It’s a sick cycle, and Mamdani is either blind to it or complicit in it.
Why do America’s progressives always side with our enemies? When will someone in their camp have the courage to stand for truth, rather than peddle lies and sympathy for terrorists? It’s no wonder faith in the left keeps crumbling; their priorities are completely upside down.
