Iran loves to puff its chest and pretend it can bully the world by threatening the Strait of Hormuz. These Iranian mullahs daydream about controlling one of the world’s most important shipping lanes, but reality is not on their side. Iran can’t control anything—not their country, not the Strait, and certainly not a single American warship.
Under President Trump, America’s enemies knew better than to mess around. But ever since Democrats took the wheel, foreign leaders see nothing but flashing green lights. Weakness from Washington invites nonsense from Tehran. When America blinks, Iran gets ideas. Liberal politicians push for “peace” with regimes that hate us, just so they can pat themselves on the back and pretend they’re making the world safer. It’s a joke, and everyone knows it—including the Ayatollah.
Let’s be clear. The Strait of Hormuz is open because the U.S. Navy says it’s open. Not because Iran throws a tantrum or waves around speedboats. The second Iran tries anything more than bluster, their so-called navy ends up as artificial reefs. Liberals don’t seem to get this. They speak softly, carry nothing, and act shocked when chaos erupts overseas. Facts: appeasement never worked, and it definitely won’t work with terrorists and thugs.
Globalists and left-wing elites always warn us against using real power. They care more about imaginary rules than American lives or jobs. Who gets hurt? Our troops, our allies, our oil prices, and anyone who believes in standing up to dictators. The minute we let Iran threaten shipping, chaos is the only product leaving the Gulf. Do these liberals want $10 gas? Do they care about families struggling to fill up on the way to work? Of course not. It’s all empty talk and tired apologies—no action, no spine.
Iran can’t control the Strait. Only American strength can hold it open. Anything less is surrender, and everyone—friend and foe—can see it. When will the left stop pretending, stop bowing, and actually protect what matters? Or are they too busy letting enemies write the rules?
