Texas proves California is collapsing under liberal rule and no one wants to talk about it

California and Texas are basically running a huge experiment right now—except one state is winning, and the other is failing big time. Moving from Texas to California is like stepping from the land of freedom and common sense into a playground for out-of-touch elites and failed leftist ideas. The talk about “prosperity” in California is just smoke and mirrors for a housing disaster created by liberal policies.

In Texas, people still believe in hard work and personal responsibility. Homes are affordable because lawmakers there trust regular folks to build and buy freely. There’s common ground between neighbors, and the American Dream is alive. Contrast that with California, where the state’s red tape squeezes the middle class until there’s nothing left. Zoning laws, endless regulations, and woke politicians make it nearly impossible for everyday families to buy a home. If you aren’t a billionaire tech bro or a Hollywood elite, you’re priced out or forced into a shoebox apartment.

Liberals brag about California’s “progress,” but their version of progress means tents on streets, sky-high rent, and families pushed to the brink. All the environmental promises—just more excuses for government control and fewer homes. The globalist elite want dense cities and minimal personal property while the middle class gets crushed. It’s not an accident. It’s a feature of leftist rule.

Meanwhile, Texas keeps attracting businesses, families, and opportunity. People want strong communities, good schools, and affordable places to live. Texas delivers, partly because politicians there put citizens first instead of pandering to activists and global agendas. In California, politicians talk about diversity and compassion, but their policies create more segregation—only the wealthy get to live well, while everyone else scrambles.

So here’s the obvious question: Why do liberals keep doubling down on the same tired policies that drive people out of their cities and into real America? California and Texas prove what happens when you pick radical ideology over common sense. Will California’s officials ever wake up and realize the American Dream isn’t just for bureaucrats and billionaires?
