Liberals want you to forget America’s greatness before the 250th birthday

Two hundred fifty years. Think about that. America is about to celebrate something most empires never dream of—lasting for a quarter of a millennium. While the left spends every day attacking our history, President Trump knows better. He says this special anniversary should remind us to be proud, not ashamed, of where we came from. The America we love wasn’t built by people moaning about flaws. It was built by people with backbone, drive, and guts.

Of course, liberals want us to forget this. They want to erase George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, tear down statues, rewrite textbooks, and replace the Star-Spangled Banner with something “less offensive.” All while the world’s worst regimes, like China and Iran, laugh at us for being too weak to stand up for our own country. But that’s what makes Trump different—he actually trusts Americans to remember their victories and learn from their mistakes, instead of canceling everything that made us great.

Some people act like being proud of America is a problem. They act like ambition and expectations for our country are old-fashioned. But Trump believes we should expect more. He says it’s time to revive our American spirit—our will to win, our right to dream big, our duty to lead. The radical left wants to shrink America’s ambitions and bury our achievements, hoping that if we all forget the past, they can rewrite the future.

Remember, this is the left that rushed to blame our Founding Fathers for everything wrong in the modern world but refuses to give credit for the nation they created—the freest, wealthiest land on earth. They ignore all the good, get stuck in grievance, and want Americans to feel guilty for simply loving their own country. It’s globalism over patriotism, apology over pride.

Now, as America turns 250, it’s not a time for shame or silence. It’s a time to celebrate, reclaim our history, and double down on what makes America exceptional. Are we going to keep letting liberal elites tell us to hate ourselves—or is it time to remember who we really are?
