It’s getting old watching Hollywood elites cry because America doesn’t fit their narrow, just-left-enough bubble. Case in point: Larry David. He’s the guy who brought us Seinfeld, once a funny man, now a joyless scold embarrassed to be American because the White House dared to host a UFC fight. Really, Larry? That’s where you draw the line on patriotism?
Let’s be real. Millions of everyday Americans love UFC. Straight-talking, working-class values—something the Left decided doesn’t count unless it’s filtered through an Ivy League lens. The fight wasn’t some great evil. It was pure, unfiltered, heartland entertainment on the people’s lawn. But to the limousine-liberals like David, anything linked to Trump is automatically sinful. Heaven forbid something bring Americans together unless it checks all of the woke boxes.
Worse, David took his complaints to the pages of the New York Times, ranting about Bill Maher—and even tossing around the usual Hitler slurs from the far-Left playbook. It’s pathetic. These so-called comedians can’t even debate ideas. Maher once said David dodged his invitations because he didn’t think he was smart enough for the table. At this point, that’s not hard to believe.
Guys like David are so addicted to their resentment of Trump and his supporters, they forget what freedom actually looks like. They snub real Americans, mocking traditions, hobbies, and even the right to enjoy a good fight. It’s the same tired script—the cultural snobs gonna snob, all while lecturing the rest of us to feel guilty for loving our country.
But here’s a thought: If celebrities like David are so mortified by patriotism and ordinary American life, maybe they should rethink what country provides them a platform to whine in the first place. Would they rather live in a place where fights are banned—but free speech is too? The answer is obvious. That’s why millions are done listening to their hypocrisy.
