Gas prices are on fire, and Americans are the ones getting burned. Inflation just hit its highest point in three years, with costs shooting up 4.1 percent since last year. That’s just the latest body blow from the Biden administration’s reckless policies. But don’t expect apologies from the left—for them, pain at the pump is just “progress.”
Month after month, it’s getting harder for regular families to fill up their tanks. Prices jumped another 0.4 percent from the previous month alone. Apparently, the liberal answer is to scold people for wanting to drive to work or take their kids to baseball practice. Only in Joe Biden’s America do you get punished for living a normal life.
The so-called experts running the show in Washington love to lecture Americans about electric cars, “green” fantasies, and the wonders of globalism. Meanwhile, they do nothing as gas prices surge and hardworking people struggle to afford groceries. Is it any surprise? These bureaucrats are more interested in pleasing European elites and climate cultists than helping the citizens they’re supposed to serve.
There’s no mystery here. Biden and his pals have waged war on American energy from day one. They suffocated the oil and gas industry with rules and red tape, making it impossible for the country to power itself. Now, they blame everyone except themselves for the sky-high prices that hit the Middle Class and working poor the hardest.
Every time Americans swipe their card at the gas station, it’s a reminder: liberal policies come with a heavy price. The elites never feel it, but regular families pay every day. How much more of this “leadership” can the nation take before people finally demand real change?
