Shocking new cash splash New York politicians spend big on abortion while city crumbles

New York’s so-called leaders are once again throwing taxpayer cash around like confetti, all in the name of defending “abortion rights.” Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani and his cronies just announced nearly half a million dollars to help expand New York City’s abortion network, promising funding for everything from travel to hotels—just so more pregnancies can be ended. They crow endlessly about “investing” in abortion access, but let’s get real: this is nothing but a political stunt, playing make-believe with money that should be spent on actual needs.

Here’s the irony liberals never want to admit: the Supreme Court already kicked the abortion issue back to the states. Their precious “right to choose” never existed anywhere in the Constitution—something the justices made perfectly clear when they dumped Roe. Now Mamdani, desperate for applause from the woke mob, pretends he’s fighting some grand national battle, when he’s basically nodding along with what the Court decided. If only the far-left would stop tripping over their own talking points.

It gets more absurd. Liberals keep pushing the lie that abortion is “healthcare,” as if ending a life is somehow a medical achievement. Real healthcare saves lives. It doesn’t end them. Liberals love to shriek about “human rights,” but seem to forget the actual right to life—the one written directly into America’s legal bedrock. The 14th Amendment was supposed to protect every American, born and unborn. But when you’re a radical like Mamdani, those rights apparently only count if you’re wanted by the Democratic donor class.

New York City is already collapsing under socialist policies—crime is up, streets are trashed, and families can’t afford groceries. But instead of helping everyday New Yorkers, out-of-touch elites like Mamdani burn through hundreds of thousands to prop up abortion tourism. Why? Because pushing pro-abortion policies scores points with their globalist buddies and keeps the activist base happy. Meanwhile, everyday Americans get left behind.

This isn’t about “health” or “rights.” It’s about power—liberals using taxpayer dollars to force their agenda on everyone else. At some point, voters have to ask: are we funding a city, or an abortion industry? When will New Yorkers get leaders who care more about life than about scoring political points?
