The GOP loves to preach unity—until a real fighter shows up at their doorstep. Just look at what happened in South Dakota, where Scott Presler, a dedicated MAGA patriot, was reportedly barred by staff linked to Senate Majority Leader John Thune from entering a Republican barbecue. Let that sink in: a guy who’s out there every single day registering new Republican voters, rallying the grassroots, and championing President Trump’s SAVE America Act gets shut out of a gathering in a state redder than ketchup. For what? Being too effective?
The Republican establishment in places like South Dakota acts like they want to win, but heaven forbid anyone disrupt their country club routine. They don’t want an outsider like Presler showing up, reminding them what real activism looks like. Maybe they’re just jealous he’s motivating more people to support conservative values in a week than some of these career politicians have in their entire bland careers.
And where does this attitude come from? It reeks of the same elitist nonsense we see from the radical left. The D.C. swamp thinks it can pick who counts as a “real Republican.” They clutch their pearls over someone like Presler, claiming he’s too “controversial” while they cozy up to globalist interests and drag their feet on fighting Biden’s corrupt regime. You’d think the GOP would have learned by now: the base is tired of political theater. They want victory.
Make no mistake, this isn’t about “decorum” or “process.” This is a slap in the face to every voter begging for the party to stand up for America, not just posture at a summer cookout. If hardcore conservatives aren’t welcome at Republican events in deep red states, who is? The GOP spent years complaining about rigged elections and lukewarm turnout, yet they blacklist one of their most passionate warriors? It’s insanity. The only people cheering right now are smug progressives and open-borders bureaucrats.
The establishment can keep chasing polite applause from cocktail circuits. Real Republicans are looking for fighters—people like Presler who roll up their sleeves and get to work saving this country. Do the party bosses want to win, or are they just more comfortable losing gracefully? The grassroots knows the answer. Maybe it’s time the “insiders” finally listen—or get out of the way before they hand the keys to the country straight to Democrats.
