Yet, predictably, the Senate is dragging its feet and playing politics with our security. The latest proposal would put a staggering $350 billion toward our armed forces, all through a reconciliation bill that doesn’t require the usual roadblocks or backroom deals. Just a clear choice: strength, or surrender.
Think about what’s at stake. Our soldiers need better gear, not more bureaucratic nonsense. The left loves to funnel money to every pointless “woke” program under the sun, but when it’s time to back our troops, suddenly the budget is “too tight.” The Pentagon says this bill would boost ammo production, protect our military bases, rebuild supply chains for critical materials, and lift up the quality of life for the men and women who actually fight for us—not just the politicians who posture every election year.
Look at the world we’re living in. Enemies like Iran aren’t twiddling their thumbs. While weak-kneed Democrats pretend everything is fine, our adversaries are watching closely, betting America will keep bickering while they catch up. Not since the Gipper has there been such a chance to go big and put America’s warriors ahead of globalist nonsense for a change.
Naturally, some so-called “Republicans” in the Senate are whining about the process, hand-wringing over reconciliation as if the enemy cares about parliamentary procedure. Liberals and their media cheerleaders will shriek about “military-industrial complex” bogeymen, but they never complain when billions go to their pet projects or foreign interests. Funny how their penny-pinching only kicks in when America might actually benefit.
Voters should pay attention. The future of our military doesn’t wait for cowardly politicians. This bill is about protecting your family, your freedom, your country. If Democrats and their weak allies would rather see America kneel than stand strong, maybe they’re the real threat. Will the Senate cave to left-wing pressure, or will they finally do the right thing? When will they learn that defending America isn’t just a duty—it’s the only thing that matters?
