Far left takeover in New York should terrify every American who cares about law and order

The radical left is celebrating in New York City, and that should worry every American who cares about law, order, and sanity. Hard-left candidates like Claire Valdez and Darializa Avila Chevalier have snagged Democratic primary victories, cementing their movement’s grip on the city. Bread-and-butter Democrats didn’t win. Socialists did. This is what happens when regular people stay home, and the loudest activists take over.

Let’s not pretend this is just business as usual. Brad Lander, who’s already shown he’ll back reckless policies, managed to stay in power while the city spirals into chaos. Crime keeps climbing. Homelessness explodes. Taxes suffocate honest families. But New York’s liberal elite still embrace the people who caused this mess — giving them even more power to drive the city off a cliff.

The hypocrisy stinks worse than the city subway. All these far-left “reformers” talk about helping the poor. Then they ram through policies that make life worse for everyone except their activist buddies. They push for more spending, less discipline, and open borders. Meanwhile, small businesses shut down. Streets aren’t safe for kids. But hey, at least the woke crowd gets to pat themselves on the back for being “progressive.”

It’s nothing but virtue signaling and a deep hatred for American values. They want to turn our largest city into an experiment for every bad idea cooked up by globalists and academics who never worked a day in their lives. It’s New Yorkers, not the politicians, who end up paying the price. And don’t count on the Democrats to reverse course. This new crop of so-called “leaders” treats common sense like a criminal offense.

When people look back on this era in New York, they’ll see how the far left hijacked a city once known for grit and freedom. At what point will ordinary folks say enough is enough — and kick the radicals out for good?
