America’s rail system is about as slow and broken as the left’s wildest spending dreams. Amtrak has gone off the rails, no pun intended, under the so-called “leadership” of yet another liberal stooge—Roger Harris, who’s running for the exit after a weak four-year stint as president. It’s no secret why. Just look at who’s actually controlling the levers behind the scenes.
The so-called Amtrak Board of Directors? It’s packed to the brim with Biden loyalists and big-government types. Out of nine seats, a hefty seven are filled by Biden appointees. Only two have any connection to President Trump—Sean Duffy and Robert Gleason. That’s just enough conservative common sense on the board to fit in a phone booth, surrounded by a swarm of Biden-backed big spenders with zero skin in the game.
This is what Americans get when the left is in charge—sky-high ticket prices, crumbling infrastructure, and dystopian train stations no one’s proud to set foot in. Under liberals, Amtrak has been reduced to another pet project for the elite, churning out taxpayer-funded disasters by the trainload. And now, because Biden stuffed the board with his crew for five-year terms, there’s little hope of seeing real reform anytime soon. The fix is in, and average riders are the ones left stranded.
It’s classic liberal hypocrisy: they talk a big game about the “working man,” but their hand-picked insiders just keep lining their own pockets while Americans wait on dirty platforms for delayed, overpriced trains. When will the left stop playing games with our country’s transportation—and our money? The board was supposed to be bipartisan, but the Democrats have turned it into their latest playground.
Bottom line? Until we MAGA—Make Amtrak Great Again—the rails are just another symbol of liberal waste and chaos. Americans deserve better. Why should we settle for slow trains and political games when real leadership could get America moving again? It’s time to clean house and put regular citizens—not globalist yes-men—in charge of our rails. Maybe then, we’ll see Amtrak actually serve the people, instead of the political class.
