Biden Scrambles to Hit Back as Iran Defies America Yet Again

The Biden administration finally woke up—just barely. As Iran continues to spit in America’s face and thumb its nose at international law, the U.S. military had to take matters into its own hands. After even more Iranian attacks against innocent vessels, our forces struck back. It’s about time. How many times do we have to see the same tired pattern—bad guys push, America dithers, and only after enough Americans are outraged does something actually happen?

Iran’s radical regime has gotten away with far too much. For months, they’ve been harassing ships, pushing boundaries, and making a mockery of so-called ceasefires. Their message is obvious: Iran doesn’t respect weakness. And why should they? The current administration keeps drawing red lines and then erasing them the second Iran steps over. Liberals wring their hands and beg for more talks, as if appeasing tyrants has ever made America safer.

This is what happens when American leadership is missing. If the left spent half as much time defending our interests as they do apologizing for America, maybe these rogue nations wouldn’t feel so bold. Instead, globalist elites keep pushing for more “restraint,” more negotiations, and more patience—while our enemies laugh and escalate. The only language thugs like Iran understand is strength, not hashtags or empty press briefings.

Now, after all the hand-wringing, U.S. Central Command had to step in and remind Iran that America still has teeth. The only tragedy is that it took multiple Iranian provocations and innocent lives put at risk before this administration was forced into action. This is reactive leadership at its worst—always behind, always hesitant, always late to defend our own.

Are we really going to keep letting the world’s bullies run the show, waiting for permission from the United Nations or approval from cable news talking heads? The truth is, America should lead from strength, not follow from weakness. If Biden and the left can’t remember that, maybe they should just get out of the way and let the grown-ups take over.
