Americans are being bombarded every single day by the left-wing media screaming that this nation is falling apart. We’re told there’s no hope, that the American dream is dead, and that our country can never be fixed. Doom and gloom headlines practically shove people into despair. They point to some poll or statistic, and all of a sudden, every newsroom is acting like America is teetering on the edge of collapse.
Meanwhile, people coming in from halfway around the globe—like those flocking to the World Cup—are wide-eyed, excited, and blown away by the sheer energy of this country. They see hard work, pride in the Stars and Stripes, and endless opportunity. It’s funny, isn’t it? Tourists can see what some Americans—especially those poisoned by radical left narratives—have somehow managed to forget. To them, America still looks like the land of freedom and greatness. Wouldn’t it be something if we remembered that too?
Of course, liberals love to push the narrative of American decline. Because for them, the more broken this country seems, the more they can justify their radical “solutions”—from bloated government handouts to globalist takeovers. The truth is, their pessimism isn’t grounded in reality. It’s a weapon. A convenient excuse to erode our Constitution, bully our kids with woke agendas, and surrender our sovereignty to the so-called “international community.” If America’s so bad, why are World Cup fans lining up to come here, spend their money, and soak up our way of life?
Public polls do show a lot of people are frustrated. That’s not hard to understand, considering how often elites try to divide us along every possible line—race, class, religion, you name it. The left wants this nation fractured, suspicious, and scared. Meanwhile, the average American who rolls up their sleeves and gets to work still believes in this country. Ordinary folks know that with all its flaws, the United States is STILL the envy of the planet.
Ask yourself why the people who hate this country the most are usually the loudest on cable news or college campuses. They want you to see nothing but chaos, to feel nothing but shame. Yet the rest of the world still looks to America as a beacon of hope and possibility. Maybe it’s time we stopped swallowing the left’s anti-American poison and started seeing this country through those fresh, grateful eyes.
America’s not dying—it’s still the greatest show on earth. If the World Cup tourists get it, why should anyone listen to the doomsayers and America-haters running the liberal circus? Maybe we should be listening to our guests instead of the shrieking elites who need us to feel broken just so they can stay in power.
