Texas Democrats have done it again. Instead of reaching out to hardworking Texans, they’ve decided the best way to get James Talarico elected is to shout about how everyone who supports him is supposedly gay, trans, or some sort of radical left stereotype. That’s what passed for strategy at their recent state convention—a wild, circus-like display that seemed more like a college protest than a serious attempt to win over voters.
This isn’t some twisted joke. Talarico’s supporters, and the Democrats egging him on, actually celebrated by claiming they’re all “trans,” “gay tofu-eating vegans,” and even going as far as to proudly embrace the idea they’re headed to Hell. That’s not a plan for Texas’s future. That’s desperate theater from a party that has absolutely nothing left to offer to real Texans.
While Talarico dumps millions into ads trying to pretend he’s a middle-of-the-road “bipartisan” hero, anyone paying attention can see through the façade. The only thing true about his slick campaign spots is his name at the end. The rest is empty posturing, just like everything else coming from the radical left.
At this convention, Democrats didn’t even bother pretending to care about regular folks. They kicked things off with Marxist land acknowledgments, handed out Plan B pills like Halloween candy, and put on a sold-out drag show. That’s what passes for priorities in the modern Democrat Party—pandering to fringe activists instead of addressing skyrocketing costs, border chaos, or the real issues facing Texas families.
Ken Paxton may not be the media’s darling, but at least he stands up for Texas values. Meanwhile, Talarico and his progressive buddies are too busy performing for the woke mob to care about the Lone Star State. Is this really the direction Texans want—openly mocking faith, celebrating chaos, and pushing further into left-wing madness? When Democrats tell us who they are, it’s time to believe them.
