Thieves Loot Food Aid for Kids While Liberals Demand Bigger Government Programs

Criminals Just Robbed the Federal Food Program—And the Left Wants More Handouts?

Once again, the liberal welfare state just handed crooks a massive payday. Over $850,000 vanished in Massachusetts when criminals siphoned off money from a federal summer food program—money meant for children. More than 10,000 fraudulent transactions hit the so-called SUN Bucks program within days. This is what happens when government grows too big, too bloated, and too careless with your tax dollars.

The bureaucrats are quick to pat themselves on the back, bragging about their “fraud detection.” But the truth? They didn’t stop the theft. They only noticed once the loot had already disappeared. It’s a familiar story: government creates a program, promises safeguards, then watches helplessly as criminals run wild. Meanwhile, real families get left behind, and hardworking Americans foot the bill.

This is what liberals call “compassion”—throwing piles of money at endless programs, blindly trusting no one will exploit them. They act shocked as the fraud gets bigger every year. How many times will they blame “skimming” or “fake card readers” while refusing to admit that the system is broken? Democrats never seem to care about actual accountability. They just install fancier cards and print new pamphlets about “protecting your PIN.”

Of course, the social engineers are lining up to expand these bloated benefit programs nationwide. Globalist bureaucrats and the federal government love doling out free money, even when fraud is rampant. They’d rather push for more dependency than fix the underlying rot. Why bother with real reform or personal responsibility when it’s easier to scold law-abiding citizens for not paying enough taxes?

So ask yourself: When will we stop rewarding failure? How many millions more must be lost before someone wakes up and says “enough”? If this is what liberals call progress, count real Americans out. Maybe if politicians cared as much about protecting taxpayer money as they do about virtue signaling, our most vulnerable wouldn’t get robbed by their own government’s carelessness.
