Something is very wrong with our so-called “leadership” these days. Just look at what Zohran Mamdani is pulling in New York City. He told the NYPD to stop cracking down on e-bike riders, supposedly in the name of “fairness.” But who is he trying to be fair to, really? Certainly not the honest, hardworking folks who are scared to cross the street thanks to out-of-control e-bikers zipping around like they own the place.
Let’s get real. E-bikes are everywhere in New York, and it’s not just people going to work. Too many e-bike riders fly down sidewalks, blow through red lights, and couldn’t care less about the rules. People are getting hurt and even killed, but apparently that’s no big deal if you’re a woke politician craving street cred with radical activists.
Mamdani’s move basically gave reckless riders a get-out-of-jail-free card. Rather than supporting victims and law-abiding locals, he’s siding with the chaos. Liberals like him always talk about “justice” but turn their backs on victims. They twist the idea of fairness until it’s completely backwards—protecting lawbreakers while regular citizens pay the price. That’s the upside-down world the left wants for America.
Maybe Mamdani thinks letting reckless bikers off the hook will earn him applause from globalist elites who want open borders and lawless cities. But New Yorkers are fed up. People deserve safe sidewalks, streets, and parks—not another left-wing experiment that turns a blind eye to crime. The liberal elite never have to worry about e-bikes flying past their fancy brownstones. It’s working families and kids who pay the price.
This is what you get when radicals run the show: rules thrown out the window, safety sacrificed for virtue signaling, and common sense ignored. Where’s the justice for the innocent people who get hit by these reckless riders? Does Mamdani even care about them—or just about getting likes and retweets from his far-left pals?
If Democrats keep choosing lawbreakers over law-abiding citizens, how much longer will America’s real backbone stay quiet?
