Gavin Newsom continues to prove just how clueless leftist politicians can be when it comes to the real world — especially on the issue of concealed carry. Apparently, Newsom thinks everyday Americans should just trust the government to protect them, leaving their personal safety in the hands of bureaucrats who can barely keep the streets safe in broad daylight. It’s laughable. The man’s got armed guards, but he expects law-abiding citizens to walk around defenseless.
This is what’s wrong with the liberal mindset. They sit in their ivory towers, surrounded by security, while regular people are the ones facing real threats. Crime is out of control in cities all over the country, with California often leading the pack. Instead of empowering citizens to defend themselves, Newsom thinks more gun restrictions will magically solve everything. Typical leftist fantasy—just ignore the facts and hope criminals play by the rules.
What’s really stunning is how out of touch these folks are. Newsom and his allies keep pushing for more red tape, making it almost impossible for honest people to get a concealed carry permit. Meanwhile, criminals don’t care about permits or laws. They’re already breaking them! When did common sense become so rare in government? Americans know we need the right to protect ourselves… especially when the state refuses to do its basic job.
The left loves to claim they’re the champions of the little guy, but their policies do more to help the bad guys than anyone else. Newsom would rather score points with his woke friends and globalist donors than stand up for the constitutional rights of the people he’s supposed to serve. It’s hypocrisy at its finest: disarm the citizen, but keep the bodyguards. Is it any wonder California is a mess?
At the end of the day, Americans have a choice: trust slippery politicians like Gavin Newsom, or take responsibility for their own safety. Judging by the way things are going in California, it’s no surprise so many people are choosing the latter. Maybe it’s time for these clueless liberals to listen to reality—before reality comes knocking on their own front doors.
