Once again, the United States is running to the negotiating table with Iran, as hostile as ever, after another dangerous round of saber-rattling. Instead of standing strong and projecting American power, the Biden administration is all too eager to schedule chit-chat sessions in cushy Doha conference rooms. American leaders seem to think appeasement is a strategy, but to most realists, it’s just a sign of weakness.
This latest move comes on the heels of rising tensions over the Strait of Hormuz—a region so crucial to global oil supply that even the smallest flare-up could send shockwaves through international markets. Instead of putting America’s interests first, the current administration is busy begging a regime known for backing terrorists and chanting “Death to America” to please, let’s just talk it out. It’s laughable if it weren’t so dangerous.
Liberals love to blab about “diplomacy” and “peace.” But let’s be real. When has sitting down with Iran ever led to anything but broken promises and more hostility? The mullahs in Tehran don’t respect soft words—they only understand power. But the Biden foreign policy team is stuck on repeat, trying to score brownie points with globalists while ignoring the hard reality that appeasing our enemies only emboldens them.
The so-called experts pushing for these meetings are more interested in looking good to their international pals than standing up for the American people. If there’s one thing this administration does well, it’s bowing to the left-wing elites and pretending the world is a friendly playground, not a battlefield of competing interests.
Let’s face it: enemies don’t back down when America grovels. They push harder. How many more times do we have to watch the same disastrous script play out before leaders in Washington realize you can’t negotiate with bullies by asking them nicely? Maybe the White House thinks another round of talk will create peace. Those of us living in the real world know better. Is America going to keep letting anti-American regimes run the show, or are we finally going to demand real strength from our leaders?
