It’s happening in America, not in the UK or some socialist European dystopia—right here in the heart of Texas. Fort Worth police, at an “all-ages” Pride event, threatened to cite a street preacher simply because someone might be offended by his words. That’s not the Texas most Americans know. That’s not the America anyone with common sense wants.
How did we get to the point where our own police officers, in a state as supposedly free as Texas, are treating street preaching like a crime? When a preacher dared to state biological facts, the officer couldn’t give a straight answer. Instead, he danced around the question, suggesting it’s a “gray area.” According to this law enforcement logic, if a man says he’s a woman and gets offended when someone calls him “sir,” suddenly that might be a citable offense. This isn’t protecting anyone—it’s silencing those who dare to speak the truth.
Let’s be clear: The Constitution does not grant anyone a right to never be offended. That is the slippery slope the radical Left and their woke enablers want us all to slide down. For crying out loud, even the ugliest and most hateful speech is protected in America. That’s how freedom works. The Founders didn’t write the First Amendment to make everyone comfortable—they wrote it to protect the kind of speech that’s bold, honest, and sometimes unpopular.
What’s even more outrageous? Only certain people seem to get protection these days. If you belong to a trendy identity group, the system trips over itself to keep you safe from “offensive” words. But if you’re a Christian, a conservative, or someone who simply believes in biological reality, suddenly your rights don’t matter. This is the real discrimination—and it’s happening with the blessing of both the Left and those in power who should know better.
Americans need to wake up. If the police are now enforcing Leftist feelings rather than the law, how long until no one can speak their mind anywhere? Is this what we fought for, what our nation was built on? If standing up for the First Amendment gets you cited in Texas, is any state safe from the woke agenda?
