A terrible scene has unfolded in the city of Stade, outside Hamburg, Germany. At least five people are dead after a mass shooting—yet again, Europe faces the deadly consequences of failed policies. The left loves to parade around Europe as the shining example of “gun control” bliss. But the harsh truth can’t be hidden anymore: gun laws do not guarantee safety or security.
Germany has some of the strictest gun regulations in the world. Liberals always point to these laws as the gold standard. Still, criminals never follow the rules. Innocent people pay the price while politicians pat themselves on the back for their “progressive” ideas. This attack is a tragic reminder that bad actors will always find a way to wreak havoc, no matter how many laws pile up.
Sadly, the globalist ruling class is more concerned with lecturing Americans than protecting their own citizens. They claim taking away guns is the path to peace, but their own countries see violence just like anywhere else. Maybe it’s time to stop blaming law-abiding citizens and start holding failed leaders accountable for putting ideology over real solutions.
But liberal hypocrisy stretches even further. Whenever violence breaks out in the United States, the chorus of anti-Second Amendment voices grows deafening. Yet, when blood is spilled in European streets, suddenly the media falls silent or tries to spin excuses. Where are the cries for justice and reform for German families today? Americans should see through these double standards.
Europe’s latest tragedy shows what really happens when the left’s utopian promises meet the real world. So, when liberals preach about “sensible gun control” and European superiority, maybe they should clean their own house first. How many more tragedies must happen before the truth can finally be said out loud?
