Reports now show that during last week’s brutal heatwave, the European Union’s headquarters in Brussels only kept air conditioning running for the top levels—the floors where the Eurocrats lounge in luxury. Meanwhile, everyone else was left sweating it out like peasants in the Middle Ages. Apparently, comfort and safety are reserved for the powerful, while the bureaucratic underlings, staffers, and everyday workers are treated like an afterthought.
So much for that progressive promise of equality for all. The so-called champions of fairness and climate justice couldn’t even bother to protect their own rank-and-file while they beat the drum for “climate action.” This is the real face of globalist leadership. Preach sacrifice to the masses, but keep all the perks for the chosen few. Sound familiar? This is nothing but a modern feudal system, where the elite enjoy ice-cold offices and everyone else simply gets told to deal with it.
It’s not just arrogant—it’s downright hypocritical. These are the same technocrats who love to lecture hardworking families on how they need to cut back on electricity, switch off their air conditioners, and accept higher utility bills “for the good of the planet.” But when push comes to shove, they don’t give up a single comfort themselves. They’re happy to let ordinary people roast in the heat while they sit in cool luxury, protected from the consequences of their own climate policies.
If anyone ever doubted the gap between the liberal elite and the average citizen, here it is in plain view. The EU isn’t just out of touch with regular people—it’s openly mocking them. They try to control every aspect of daily life in the name of saving the earth, but it’s always someone else made to suffer while the pampered class keeps living the good life.
Americans should take note. These globalist games aren’t just a European problem. This is exactly the type of mindset the left wants to import to our shores—rules for thee, not for me. The EU headquarters might as well be a castle fortress, with the Eurocrats playing kings and queens, and everyone else left outside sweltering in the sun.
