The shocking truth behind DSA plans for a new American royalty

America was founded on the principle of “no kings,” but today’s Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) seem to believe in kings—as long as the crown comes from a committee of bureaucrats, not a monarch. They want government in charge of everything, from your money to your health to your very thoughts. “No kings,” they say, but what they really mean is “no individual freedom.”

The DSA parades around like they’re fighting for the little guy, but all they offer is more rules, higher taxes, and endless government control. Funny how people who hate “the rich” always end up building massive power structures that benefit the loudest activists and pampered college kids. The regular American gets left paying the bill while these socialist wannabes play make-believe revolutionaries.

What’s even worse is how liberals always act shocked—absolutely shocked—when socialism brings chaos, incompetence, and misery. They preach about “fairness” and “equity,” but somehow the same people end up getting richer while the rest of us deal with higher prices and empty promises. They talk about “inclusive democracy,” but only if you agree with every word they say. Disagree? Suddenly you’re the enemy.

Let’s face it—the DSA’s dream is closer to a nightmare. They don’t want freedom; they want central planning. Anyone who still trusts the government after the botched COVID response or the inflation disaster is either blind or complicit. These people love power. They want to tell Americans how to live, what to say, and how to think. That’s not what our Founders fought for.

Maybe it’s time to remind the DSA: Americans don’t bow to kings—or to leftist mobs in fancy new suits. Why trade one crown for another, just because it’s painted red?
