Remember that much-hyped Memorandum of Understanding—the magical agreement where Iran supposedly promised to play nice and stop stirring up trouble? Meanwhile, the regime in Iran sits back and watches the West trip over itself, reassured that toothless agreements keep them safe from any serious blowback. Open borders at home, endless appeasement abroad—that’s the new liberal order.
