America is the land of freedom, hope, and endless opportunity. Or at least, that’s how millions of patriots see it. But not everyone shares that love for their own country. Shockingly, a new poll reveals only eight percent of Democrats actually believe America is the greatest country in the world. Just eight percent. It’s hard to imagine a more ungrateful response for a nation that has given so much.
This isn’t just a statistic; it’s a red flag. The left claims to care about “unity” and “progress,” but how can they unite the nation when most of them won’t even stand up and say America is the best? It’s as if loving America is now some sort of crime to the Democrat elite. They’d rather bow to globalist interests, tear down statues, and rewrite history than admit that this country—flaws and all—is still the shining city on a hill.
Democrats love to talk about diversity and tolerance. But when it comes to respecting America’s incredible achievements, they go silent. They parade around with slogans about “systemic racism” and “national shame,” pushing division instead of pride. They’re quick to find fault, slow to remember our victories. Meanwhile, brave men and women have given their lives defending the freedoms we all enjoy. Apparently, that sacrifice means little to the woke crowd.
As America’s 250th birthday approaches, the contrast couldn’t be sharper. Conservatives stand tall, hand over heart, proud to be American. The liberal wing, meanwhile, acts embarrassed by the stars and stripes. This isn’t just sad—it’s dangerous. A nation that won’t fight for its own greatness is a nation fading fast.
Why do liberals struggle so much with gratitude? Why are they more comfortable criticizing the country that has done more for its people—and the world—than anywhere else in history? Maybe it’s because they’d rather America become just another bland spot on the global map, instead of the exceptional beacon it truly is. Patriotic Americans should take note and stand even prouder, because clearly, the left isn’t up for the job.
