For decades, California has been allowed to write its own laws—laws that the rest of America is forced to suffer under. The so-called “green carveouts” are some of the worst offenders. These deals give California politicians a free pass to push their radical climate agenda, no matter the cost to working folks in real America. It’s time for this madness to end, and only a tough leader like Trump can finish the job.
Back in 1994, Republicans took a bold stand against the out-of-control bureaucracy in Washington. The Congressional Review Act handed Congress a crucial tool to stop bureaucrats from running amok. It took true conservative grit to shove the Deep State back into its cage. But California, egged on by globalist elites, found new ways to sidestep common sense and keep their far-left schemes alive.
What’s worse? California’s green rules don’t just punish their own citizens; they poison the entire country. Liberal activists in Sacramento pass huge burdens onto American families, making energy expensive and killing jobs. All to score political points and keep the eco-woke crowd happy. Meanwhile, middle-class families in the heartland get stuck paying the price.
Democrats talk a big game about fairness but hand out exceptions when it helps their climate cronies. There’s no justice here—just rigged rules for the blue state elite. If California wants to experiment, let them foot the entire bill. Americans outside of San Francisco and Hollywood should not be trapped under the boot of Newsom’s green fantasies.
Trump started the work to end these carveouts, but it’s time to go all the way. He needs to strip California of its special privileges for good—and blow the whistle on the left’s hypocritical games. Will Americans let California dictate how we live, or will we finally stand up and take our country back?
