Germany Out, America Rising: The World Cup Could Finally Be Ours
Can you hear that sound? It’s the world’s soccer elitists gasping while their precious Germany packs its bags after getting stomped by Paraguay. That’s right—one of Europe’s golden teams crashed out early, and suddenly, their smug fans are scrambling for excuses, blaming anything but their own overhyped mediocrity.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Men’s National Team keeps punching above its weight, despite every globalist sports commentator rooting for us to fail. These so-called “experts” were all too happy to mock our thrashing of Paraguay, calling them an easy target. Oddly, their tune changed as soon as Paraguay took down mighty Germany. The hypocrisy is glaring: when the U.S. embarrasses a team, it’s dismissed. When that same team throws Europe’s elite out of the tournament, it’s “one of those crazy upsets.” Give us a break.
The American team barely broke a sweat against Paraguay. Sure, we lost a close one to Turkey, but let’s get real—our top players were resting so they’d be fresh for bigger fights. The leftist media acts like that’s a sign of weakness. News flash: it’s called strategy. Maybe that’s a foreign word in Europe these days, along with “winning.”
With Germany gone, the so-called invincible giants aren’t looking so tough anymore. Brazil nearly slipped up against Japan. Spain couldn’t even handle Cabo Verde. Ghana held England. And Portugal couldn’t close the deal against the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This is the year of the underdog—and there’s no bigger underdog story than America taking the World Cup in the middle of our 250th birthday.
For too long, the liberal press and global soccer snobs have acted like America’s only good at football—with pads and helmets. It drives them crazy to think we might take their sacred tournament with gritty, determined, unapologetic AMERICAN talent. But the myth of European soccer superiority is crumbling, right before their eyes.
It’s time the world gets used to it: the United States is coming for the World Cup, and no elite, no biased broadcaster, no socialist soccer union can stop us now. Is the world ready to watch the Star-Spangled Banner played at the final? They better get used to disappointment.
