That’s the level of insanity we’ve reached. Even a Democrat’s not safe from their own party unless they toe every single line—no matter how insane it gets.
Take a look at New York City. Their recent primaries threw out two leaders who were already bleeding-heart progressives, just to make room for even more deranged candidates. These weren’t your average liberals—they were full-blown Democratic Socialists. Apparently, today’s Left isn’t happy unless you’re waving a red flag and demanding open borders, higher taxes, and government-run everything.
This isn’t about helping the “little guy.” It’s a power play. The Left’s endless purity tests have one purpose: total control. If you step a toe out of line, you’re gone. It’s not about ideas or working together—this is about enforcing groupthink at all costs. Today’s Democrats are so desperate to stay woke that they’ll gladly toss their own overboard to please the loudest voices in the room.
Let’s be real: this obsession with being the most “progressive” is a race with no finish line. There’s always someone farther to the left, someone ready to call out your “privilege” or demand you grovel for some supposed crime of wrongthink. And regular Americans are left wondering—do any of these politicians even care about us anymore, or is all of this just a game for power-hungry elites and radical activists?
