Denver faces socialist takeover as radical agenda threatens to destroy the Mile High City

Denver is about to get a harsh lesson in what “change” really means, and it has nothing to do with freedom or prosperity. Democratic Socialist Melat Kiros is the latest darling of the far-left, sweeping into power with an agenda straight out of a Marxist playbook. The left is celebrating her “victory,” but it’s nothing for hardworking Coloradans to cheer about. If you think things in Denver are bad now, just wait—Democratic Socialism promises to take everything broken about blue states and double it.

For anyone paying attention, it’s clear what this really is: a hostile takeover of yet another American city by radical socialists. They’re so shameless, they’re proud to boast about turning blue districts even redder—only this time it’s not Reagan Red, it’s full-blooded Socialist Red. The left loves to call this progress, but all it means is more failed policies, higher taxes, more regulations, and less freedom for anyone who dares to think differently.

Remember, liberal politicians promised us their big-government experiments would lead to modern, safe cities. Take a look at Denver and see how that’s working out. Crime is rampant, businesses are under attack, and families who built Denver are packing up and leaving. Now the so-called “solution” is to double down with a Democratic Socialist ready to import every failed, far-left policy from California to Venezuela. Expect an explosion of government handouts and “equity” programs, all paid for by taxpayers who can barely afford groceries.

Does anyone really believe these socialists have an answer to crime, addiction, or homelessness? Their answer is to throw taxpayer money at problems and blame capitalism for their failures. It’s never their incompetence, never their anti-American values, never their soft-on-crime policies leading to chaos. Instead of holding people accountable, they coddle criminals and punish the law-abiding. It’s a recipe for disaster.

The left’s confidence isn’t based on results. It’s based on empty promises and globalist pipe dreams. Denver doesn’t need more change for the worse—it needs a return to common sense. The question is, when will voters finally see through the smoke and mirrors? Or will they just let the socialists burn down what’s left of a great American city?
