The American people deserve leaders who stand up for their safety. But every time Congress calls out the real dangers caused by sanctuary city policies, Democrats show their true colors. What’s on full display? Utter indifference. They don’t care that deadly violence is flooding into our towns thanks to Biden’s busted border and the lunatics running blue cities.
During a recent congressional hearing, it was obvious who cared about protecting American lives—and who was there just to defend the failed status quo. While Republicans demanded answers, Democrats like Jamie Raskin and Pramila Jayapal twisted themselves into knots to deflect blame. Instead of facing facts, they clung to tired talking points and played their usual political games, more interested in scoring points than saving lives.
Let’s call it what it is: outright hypocrisy. The left claims to care about “justice.” But when American citizens are gunned down or attacked because criminal illegal aliens are coddled in so-called sanctuary cities, Democrats turn cold. They refuse to admit these bleeding-heart policies lead directly to blood on our streets. They hide behind phony compassion while real families pay the ultimate price.
What’s worse is their shameless “whataboutism.” They refuse to answer for their own mess, choosing instead to attack Republicans who want to restore law and order. Democrats ignore crime victims, dodge the facts, and parrot their open-borders agenda—no matter who gets hurt. It’s a disgrace, plain and simple.
Americans are sick of watching liberals place the desires of illegal immigrants and globalist interests above the safety of our own people. Every time Democrats squirm to defend sanctuary cities, they expose their anti-American priorities. The question isn’t whether these policies are dangerous—it’s how long we’re going to let left-wing ideologues put American lives in jeopardy. When will Democrats finally admit the truth: their sanctuary schemes are a threat to us all?
