America is finally waking up. Ohio’s Senator Bernie Moreno has just thrown down the gauntlet, announcing that he’ll reintroduce a bill that takes dead aim at the disastrous policy of birthright citizenship for illegal aliens. It’s a plan ripped straight from the playbook of former Nevada Senator Harry Reid—yes, a Democrat. Even the far left once knew that this open-border loophole was a ticking time bomb for our country.
For decades, liberals have sold out American citizens by twisting the Fourteenth Amendment to mean anyone zipping across the border, child in tow, gets a golden ticket to U.S. citizenship. It’s a magnet for lawbreaking and a slap in the face to every legal immigrant who actually played by the rules. Democrats used to understand the dangers. Only now, they’d rather side with globalists and lawbreakers than defend our borders.
Moreno’s move is common sense. He wants to make it crystal clear who actually deserves to be a citizen, and who doesn’t. This isn’t some radical scheme. It’s about restoring sanity—and enforcing the laws that keep America, America. The only people screaming about this are the same crowd shouting for open borders, no police, and endless government handouts.
Of course, watch the left twist themselves into pretzels over this bill. They once agreed with it—but now, their only loyalty is to power and votes, no matter the cost. How many American dreams have to be stomped on before Washington takes the side of its own citizens? The hypocrisy couldn’t be clearer if they tried.
If even Democrats from the past saw the problem, what’s stopping today’s leaders—besides cowardice or sheer anti-American bias? Moreno’s bill can’t come soon enough. Is it finally time for the United States to prioritize its own people over the globalist free-for-all?
