California liberals are at it again. This time, Sacramento’s Democrat politicians have their sights locked on your health insurance. Instead of fixing the mess they created with out-of-control spending, they’re digging even deeper into the pockets of anyone who works for a living. Under Gov. Gavin Newsom, there’s never enough of your money to satisfy their cravings for bigger government and new taxes.
While California families struggle to pay bills, Newsom and his political cheerleaders are busy raising taxes on private health insurance. Let’s call this exactly what it is: theft by government, plain and simple. These are not extra fees for the ultra-rich or heartless corporations. Middle-class people—the backbone of America—are the ones who’ll get hit the hardest. Doctors visits, prescriptions, emergency care; everything costs more because Sacramento liberals simply can’t control their spending addiction.
The hypocrisy is stunning. These are the same Democrats who claim to care about working families and everyday people. Yet now, they’re making healthcare more expensive for everyone except their favorite insider cronies. If you thought buying health insurance was tough already, just wait until these tax hikes kick in. Thanks to the left, it’s only going to get worse.
Ask yourself: who exactly benefits here? Certainly not patients, who will pay more and get less in return. Not small businesses, who might have to lay people off just to afford these new costs. The only winners? Bureaucrats and globalist interests looking to bleed Americans dry. Once again, the big-government crowd proves they care more about flashy programs—funded by your tax dollars—than actually protecting hardworking Californians.
Newsom acts like every dollar in your wallet belongs to him, just waiting to be spent on his far-left wish list. At this point, is there any pocket left in California that Democrats won’t try to pick?
