That’s right—an American city chose to honor a foreign nation while Old Glory takes a backseat. Regular folks are furious, and for good reason.
Let’s get real. This isn’t just about a flag. It’s about what our leaders think matters most. On the eve of the Fourth of July, liberals in city hall rush to pander to globalist interests instead of respecting the people and traditions that built this country. These left-wing politicians never miss a chance to virtue-signal to international communities, but when it comes time to honor American history, suddenly it’s controversial or “divisive” to wave your own flag.
Ask any hard-working family in Ohio how they feel when their tax dollars go to ceremonies for another nation’s independence—while American veterans and the stars and stripes are ignored. This sort of thing would’ve been unthinkable a few decades ago. Now, it’s business as usual in Democrat-led cities. Why? Because national pride is out, and globalism is in.
