Democrats Block Proof of Citizenship to Vote What Are They Hiding

The American people are sick and tired of being told their votes don’t matter. Every election cycle, Democrats cry about “voter suppression,” but when real solutions are put on the table—like requiring proof of citizenship to vote—they throw a fit. That’s what’s happening right now in Congress, and it should infuriate every law-abiding citizen in this country.

House Republicans, led by strong patriots like Rep. Riley Moore, are fighting hard to attach the SAVE Act to the must-pass National Defense Authorization Act. Why does this matter? Because the SAVE Act simply says what most Americans agree with: you should have to prove you’re a citizen before you’re allowed to decide this country’s future at the ballot box. It’s common sense. Liberals, on the other hand, seem more worried about protecting their illegal voting base than about protecting American democracy.

But the Senate, run by Democrats and their globalist allies, would rather sit on their hands and complain than actually do their jobs. Once again, the House passed real voter ID measures, but the Senate blocks them, holding the House—and the will of the people—hostage with their inaction. While patriotic lawmakers work overtime to defend our elections, the other side acts like enforcing the law is some kind of crime.

Let’s be honest about why the left opposes these simple protections. They want open borders. They want to flood our elections with noncitizen votes and tip the scale for their socialist agenda. The finger-pointing, the delays, the political theater—they all serve the same purpose: undermining confidence in our elections and silencing the voice of the American people. If you’re not a citizen, you have no business voting. Period.

Why is it so controversial to ask for proof of citizenship? The truth is, it isn’t—unless you’re a Democrat looking for every last illegal vote. Americans deserve honest elections. And if the Senate Democrats are too cowardly to defend our democracy, maybe they’re the ones who should have to prove their loyalty to this country.
