James Talarico Just Doesn’t Get It—Texans Want Real Leadership, Not Radical Gender Ideology
Here we go again. Texas state Rep. James Talarico continues to obsess over the one topic that makes most Texans cringe: radical gender ideology. While families across the state worry about putting food on the table, affording gas, or keeping their businesses open, Talarico can’t shut up about medical “treatments” for kids confused about their gender. Is this really what matters most to Texans, or is this failed politician just completely out of touch?
Democrats like Talarico never seem to learn from their endless losing streaks. Instead of learning from their 2024 beating at the polls, he’s doubling down on the same old failed ideas. He’s made his whole campaign about so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors and fighting bills that—finally—protect vulnerable kids from irreversible surgeries and hormone treatments. Apparently, he thinks parents and doctors should get to decide if a child should be put on puberty blockers, as if Texas parents actually asked the state for more leftist social engineering in their schools and hospitals.
But it gets worse. Talarico has the nerve to attack laws that stop schools from grooming kids into new identities behind their parents’ backs. He rants about so-called “parental rights,” but throws a fit the second Texas lawmakers actually listen to parents and stop woke ideologues from hiding radical curricula or pushing kids into LGBT clubs and drag events. The hypocrisy is almost impressive. Talarico claims to support parents—unless those parents want a say in protecting their own kids from out-of-control bureaucracy and activist teachers.
Talarico likes to paint these laws—like the commonsense ban on DEI hiring quotas, forced pronoun games, or school-sponsored drag shows—as “un-American.” Maybe he forgot that actual Americans want schools teaching math and reading, not woke ideology. In a state as bold and independent as Texas, people are waking up. They’re sick of watching their elected officials kneel to the latest fringe cause while ignoring the skyrocketing price of groceries and the dangerous open border.
Even after repeated embarrassment at the ballot box, Talarico keeps spoon-feeding this elitist nonsense, hoping Texans care more about trans activists’ feelings than their own livelihoods. His campaign’s stubborn focus on divisive social experiments isn’t just tone-deaf—it’s a gift to every Republican running against him. The left keeps pushing drag performers and hormone clinics while Texas families keep asking: Why aren’t you fighting for us?
When will the radical left and their allies like Talarico realize—Americans are done with the gender games. Will they ever care more about the American family than about their next woke headline?
