Secretary of State Marco Rubio just sent a message to every foreign operative thinking America is for sale: not on his watch. The legal status of Carlos Antonio Lloga Dominguez—a documented Cuban communist fixer—has been ripped away, with Dominguez and his family now sitting in federal custody. Finally, our government is treating foreign subversives as the threats they are instead of playing host to radicals whose only loyalty is to socialism and tyranny.
Dominguez, for years, ran interference for Cuba’s state propaganda machine. He wasn’t some harmless ideologue, but an operative working with the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP)—the regime’s premier influence and intelligence front. ICAP’s playbook centers on infiltrating the West, sowing anti-American ideology, and propping up leftist radicals across the globe. Liberals have turned a blind eye for decades while these foreign agents wormed their way into American life. Rubio just slammed the door shut.
Just look at the recent fiasco with Hasan Piker, the left’s favorite online propagandist. Piker recently toured communist Cuba under Dominguez’s guidance, then went on a media bender blaming America—not Cuban communism—for the island’s misery. This wasn’t a vacation; it was textbook foreign influence, staged to run cover for a failed regime and undermine American resolve. Yet, the progressive elite, obsessed with blaming America first, cheer these stunts while ignoring the suffering communism causes.
The American left never misses a chance to cozy up to globalist thugs and tyrants, handing them megaphones right on U.S. soil. For too long, the DOJ, the State Department, and cable news hacks have coddled these radicals. They act shocked when our enemies turn those privileges against us. Now, with Dominguez’s visa revoked and deportation looming, the era of consequence-free subversion is fast closing. It’s exactly the backbone Americans have been demanding—and that the corrupt left refuses to deliver.
This should be a warning: If you come to the United States to spread communist lies, agitate for anti-American causes, or act as a sock puppet for hostile foreign regimes, you’re not a guest—you’re an enemy. America has no room for foreign communists who despise its values and plot against its people. Maybe the left should take notes, but then again, when have they ever sided with America over their pet ideologies?
