West Hollywood City Council targets Home Depot while crime and chaos run wild in their own streets

The circus is back in town, and this time it’s the West Hollywood City Council playing ringleader. In their latest act, they’re targeting Home Depot—not because it’s failing to serve the community, but because these councilmembers can’t resist the urge to step into federal issues and make fools of themselves. This is what happens when bored, overpaid politicians want to get noticed and score virtue-signaling points.

Instead of fixing homeless camps on their own streets, these liberal elites are meddling with a massive company that actually provides jobs, supplies, and opportunity for working Americans. Local governments are supposed to focus on city problems, but in California, the city council would rather waste time grandstanding about issues outside their power. Is it any wonder that residents are fleeing to states that respect sanity and common sense?

Let’s be real: this is just a cheap stunt. The council knows full well that their attacks on Home Depot aren’t about real grievances—they’re about showing off for their leftist voters and winning points with globalist activists. They posture as heroes fighting for “justice,” but they can’t even handle the crime, drug use, and public decay turning West Hollywood into a joke.

This is the same kind of anti-business, anti-American thinking that’s driving California into the ground. When politicians demonize a company that actually invests in local communities, it’s obvious something is rotten. Liberals preach about inclusion and helping the middle class, but their actions just chase away investment and punish anyone who dares to think different.

Maybe instead of wasting time on useless resolutions trying to look important, the West Hollywood City Council should fix their own backyard first. But that wouldn’t get them headlines on social media or help pad their resumes for the next step up the political ladder. Who needs responsible leadership when you can put on a clown show for your pals in the media? Maybe next week, they’ll go after McDonald’s or the Easter Bunny. Who knows?
