Immigrants know the truth about America liberals refuse to admit

America isn’t just a country. It’s an idea — and it’s an idea that the left keeps trying to tear down. But sometimes it takes people from far away to remind us why this nation matters. Take the story of an Iranian-American family. Every night around the dinner table, their conversations drifted back to Iran, the country they were forced to leave. Yet every day, the lives they built screamed out pride for the U.S., the land that actually gave them hope and freedom.

This highlights something liberals just don’t get: America is a beacon. While elites whine about America’s so-called “failings,” immigrants who’ve tasted real oppression know the truth. They’ve seen real dictators, real theocracies, and real misery. They come here for a reason—and it isn’t because America is “systemically racist” or drowning in “white supremacy,” like the media would have you believe.

The daughter of these proud Iranians grew up learning what too many American-born kids are never taught: gratitude. She saw her parents cherish their hard-won freedom with every little moment—getting to vote, speaking their mind, or just living without fear that government thugs will break down their door. Meanwhile, progressives are busy trashing our history, toppling statues, and acting like freedom is something to sneer at. How twisted is that?

Globalists and woke politicians love to apologize for this country. They bow to tyrants and push for open borders, acting like America has nothing special to offer. But they’re wrong, and the people who know it best are those who had to fight to get here. That’s the real American story. Not the fake victimhood peddled in Ivy League classrooms.

So as America celebrates another birthday, remember what makes this place unique. America offers what other countries can’t. That’s why people risk their lives to come here. Maybe it’s time our politicians learn from the immigrants who know America’s value better than the spoiled brats trying to burn it all down. Happy birthday, America. Try finding a better country — we dare you.
