Two More Parasites Feast on America’s Broken Medicaid System
Here we go again—another outrageous Medicaid scam exposed in blue-state New York. Two men, Saad Aziz and Zabed Chowdhury, allegedly stole a jaw-dropping $35 million from American taxpayers by abusing Medicaid’s transportation program. This so-called “benefit” was supposed to help vulnerable patients get to medical appointments. Instead, it turned into a get-rich-quick scheme for shady businessmen and their cronies. Only in the liberal Northeast do con artists seem to find such a friendly playing field for robbing working families blind.
These two weren’t just pocketing a few extra bucks here and there. Reports say they ran Tri-Hamlet Taxi and boldly defrauded Medicaid—over and over again—by billing for rides never taken and trips that never even happened. They bribed Medicaid recipients to go along with their ruse, then billed taxpayers for outrageously expensive long-distance rides, sending patients to faraway addiction clinics when closer centers were available. The result? Tens of millions stolen, used to pay for luxury homes and fatten personal bank accounts, while real people in need suffered.
Liberals love to talk about compassion as they expand giant government programs with zero accountability. Well, this is what their “compassion” looks like in real life—scammers raking in money while bureaucrats sleep at the wheel. How many more fraud artists are getting their hands on taxpayer money? How many more billions are bleeding out of the system, just so the left can pat themselves on the back for being “caring” and “inclusive”? It’s sickening.
Of course, now prosecutors are rushing in to announce charges and make grand promises about protecting the “integrity” of federal healthcare programs. But where were these watchdogs while two men ran wild for YEARS, faking thousands of miles of travel and passing out illegal kickbacks? This didn’t happen overnight. It took years of weak oversight and spineless enforcement. Meanwhile, the feds brag about creating more bureaucratic “fraud units”—as if slapping up another office in Washington is going to stop the rot. Isn’t this exactly what Americans get when government gets too big and bloated to watch its own back?
This is what happens when liberals run the show: scammers get rich, taxpayers get fleeced, and the most vulnerable are left behind. It’s the same story, over and over, while Washington churns out new programs with old loopholes. At what point do we say enough is enough? When will America wake up and demand real accountability for every dollar poured into these broken, corrupt government warehouses of fraud?
