On America’s 250th birthday, true patriots still recognize what makes this country great. It’s not the twisted priorities of woke universities or the pandering politicians who trample the Constitution. No, it’s the ordinary heroes in uniform—the local cops, the first responders, the Secret Service agents—standing guard every single day, protecting the dream of liberty that built this nation.
While the left trashes police at every turn and kneels for foreign causes, real Americans know who deserves respect. It’s that officer on the White House campus, giving a fist bump through a car window, wishing another American “a blessed day.” That moment, that pride, that sense of brotherhood—liberals will never get it because they’re too busy tearing down flags and rewriting history.
America was never perfect, but we’ve fought for freedom at home and around the world more than any country in history. Today’s globalist elites gripe about our traditions, but without the quiet strength of men and women in uniform, there wouldn’t be a country for them to complain about at all. They want open borders, endless apologies, and bureaucrats in Brussels telling us what to do. Meanwhile, patriots just want their country back.
Instead of feeling shame at our heritage—like the radical left does—millions celebrate the sacrifices and the discipline that keep us safe. Whether it’s a Marine family at the Fourth of July parade or a Secret Service agent determined to do his job, these Americans live out the values that made this land strong. They don’t crave participation trophies or safe spaces. They want to stand up, serve, and keep their nation free.
Here’s a question for the left: If you’re so offended by America, why do you depend on its strength? Why not swap your self-pity for some gratitude? This July 4th, decent people are glad to cheer for the ordinary heroes who make the United States possible, no matter how much the globalists and the woke mob try to ruin it. Now that’s something worth celebrating.
