There’s a reason why real patriots still celebrate America. Even across the ocean, our allies know the value of freedom and what our country truly stands for. Take a look at what just happened in Tokyo. On July 3rd, Japan honored America’s 250th birthday in a big, bold way. Not with boring speeches or empty words—no, the Japanese lit up the sky with a stunning drone and fireworks show over Tokyo Bay, with the iconic Rainbow Bridge shining behind it. That’s respect.
Now, think about what that says. While so many liberal pundits here at home lecture us about America’s “flaws” and push their endless apologies, Japan isn’t buying it. Instead, the land of the rising sun threw a party for American freedom that put our own leftist-run cities to shame. When was the last time you saw San Francisco or New York put this much effort into honoring our nation? These so-called “progressives” can barely muster a flag for the Fourth of July, but Tokyo proudly lights up the sky for us.
This display is part of the State Department’s “Freedom 250 Global Illumination Initiative,” but let’s be honest—other countries seem to remember American greatness more fondly than some of our own elected officials. Our allies understand how American liberty shaped the world, while our so-called leaders bow to globalist nonsense and try to tear down everything our founders built. Maybe they should watch the skies over Tokyo and learn something about real gratitude.
Meanwhile, liberals are busy rewriting American history in their textbooks, churning out divisive rhetoric, and trying to convince everyone that the American experiment has failed. Yet, in the bright lights above Tokyo Bay, it’s crystal clear: the world knows how much they owe to our 250 years of freedom. The left can try to erase patriotism all they want, but they haven’t managed to brainwash everyone just yet—especially our friends in the East.
If Japan can celebrate what makes America great, why can’t Democrats? Maybe because their globalist agenda is more important to them than national pride. Maybe because strong nations with bold histories are a threat to their plans. Or maybe, just maybe, they’re jealous seeing other countries honor the red, white, and blue the way we all should. One thing’s clear: if America’s enemies and critics have nothing but complaints, but our friends still see the light, who do you trust—globalists preaching shame, or patriots lighting up the world?
