America just hit a milestone—250 years since our Founders declared independence and lit the spark of freedom. You’d think after a quarter millennium, this nation would know how to celebrate its own triumph. Federal agencies and officials lined up to wave the flag this July 4th weekend, desperate to outdo one another in their displays of “patriotism.” Too bad most of them spend the rest of the year undermining the very ideals our country was built on.
We watched as bureaucrats tweeted, posted, and delivered speeches about the greatness of America. Some of the same agencies that lecture us about “equity” and “diversity” suddenly remembered the words “freedom” and “independence.” For liberals, patriotism is a costume to wear one weekend a year—right before they get back to pushing policies that erode our borders, water down our traditions, and put America last.
It’s almost funny seeing the same crowd that bows to globalist interests pretend to be true-blue Americans. The federal government loves to talk values on days like this, but their actions smell of hypocrisy. Ask yourself—when was the last time these officials really stood up for common-sense, conservative priorities? Instead, we get endless red tape, unconstitutional mandates, and open praise for people who hate what this country stands for.
True patriots know our history isn’t perfect, but we don’t erase it, apologize for it, or rewrite it to please the woke mob. The real story of America is one of liberty, grit, and unmatched opportunity. Conservatives are the last line of defense for those ideals—and we refuse to let unelected officials or radical activists destroy what makes the USA special. If these government agencies want to wave the flag, maybe they should try respecting what it stands for.
As America celebrates 250 years, it’s time to ask: Are we still the nation of the Declaration of Independence, or have we traded it for empty slogans and political theater? When the parades end, will liberals still remember the meaning of freedom—or just keep working to tear it all down?
