Just look at what happened: a Detroit non-profit leader and a county employee pulled off a $6 million heist, robbing nearly 100 properties out from under hard-working families—right in the open, using government connections. They didn’t just steal homes. They stole stability, security, and hope from people already struggling.
Let’s get this straight—a so-called “community leader” conspired with an insider at the Wayne County Treasurer’s Office. Instead of helping Detroiters save their homes, these two used fake documents, fake identities, and fake deeds to grab properties and line their own pockets. These were properties of people facing tough times, and instead of giving a hand up, the left-wing bureaucrats and their friends handed these homes off to criminals-in-suits.
While Detroit’s Democrat politicians constantly promise they’re the champions of the poor, this is the real face of their machine. They turn a blind eye while their cronies steal from citizens and bankrupt the city. $1.5 million in tax revenue vanished from city coffers, all so these frauds could sell homes behind closed doors. Nobody in city leadership stopped to check what was going on, and why would they? The same revolving door of liberal policies, union hacks, and “non-profits” has run Detroit into the ground for decades.
