It’s about time Washington started acting like voting in America is a privilege, not a free-for-all. Speaker Mike Johnson is finally pushing to get the SAVE America Act through Congress again, this time crammed into a reconciliation bill where the radical Left can’t run and hide behind Senate filibusters. This bill is simple: require proof of citizenship to vote. Full stop. Every real American knows voting is the most sacred part of our Republic, but for some reason, our open-border, progressive elite class practically wants to hand ballots out at the border with Democrat campaign flyers.
Let’s be clear—liberals have always fought tooth and nail against measures that protect our elections. Why? For one reason only: it suits their desperate, globalist agenda. Democrats would rather citizens’ voices get drowned out by “undocumented” votes than risk losing their grip on power. They cry about so-called “voter suppression,” but ask any working-class American—what kind of country lets people vote without even proving who they are?
Speaker Johnson gets it. That’s why he’s taking the fight straight to the Senate with a reconciliation bill. No more backroom deals or endless excuses. No more letting D.C. bureaucrats and left-wing judges water down voter integrity over technicalities. The SAVE Act is common sense, and it only scares people who rely on chaos and confusion to win elections they can’t actually earn.
Pay attention to who the Left is protecting. They bend over backward to make sure non-citizens don’t have to show ID, while Americans have to flash identification for a beer or cold medicine. The double standard couldn’t be clearer. Democrats and their media lapdogs cry about “protecting democracy,” but what they really want is to protect a system where cheating is a feature, not a bug.
America is waking up to these dirty tricks. If you need an ID to buy a fishing license, you should need one to vote for the President. The real threat to our democracy isn’t too much ID, it’s too little backbone from those who claim to represent us. The question now: will the Senate side with American citizens, or will they keep making it easier for globalists and illegals to game our elections? Our answer should be: show us your proof or get out of the voting booth.
